Internship day 13 -Maybe last internship for this blog

Today I looked after the print studio and took my classmate Hana to see Winston about her prints and we both learn a lot from him.  I took the photos for her and me as we both are doing our internships with Winston.

 Winston is talking to Hannah-Belle and explaining how the printing machine works with the mac.  And why he wears gloves as its to protect the work from his hands just incase if dirty.

He show us the almost inside about the printer and how the paper is removed and the thing that holds the paper in place.

 This is when he cleans the inks in the machine to make sure that the inks are not blocked.  And Winston asks the machine and the machine does the rest.

 This one the light blue one was blocked so Winston put it in and ask machine to fix that and it clean itself again then he reprint that paper again and this time all of them were okay. 

 Winston had to change the paper and use another one that Hana was paying for.  So he remove it and put it in the box and there is a lock button there too, to hold the paper in place.

 Winston log in his computer and the image is Hana's for her end term project and he showed us how that Ralph and Winston have their own colour palettes for each paper they have and he is going to get another paper to be printed on.

 I took many pictures as its helpful and that inside the ink thing is going back and forward again so we waited for Hana's print to be done.

 Winston was making sure that the print was going out the right way that is underneath and there is a roll there to keep the print go round.

 The print is finish and Winston pick it up while wearing gloves and we walk to our old year three space and he hold it up.



 The students in here are maybe photography students as they got there prints on the other table and Winston brought the box that holds the paper that Hana will pay for.   And I went with Hana back to our space and then back in the print room.
 

                           Hana is washing her brushes that she use and lucky I know how to put the water on so when Denise left I ask Hana if she is still using the water and no she says, so I put it off and went back to work and turn off half the lights off and curtains in the print as I'm the last one.  I'm working on my comic while trying to place it in indesign while working on my journal for that and this blog which I don't mind at all. :)

But the last picture is my work in indesign so hope it goes well.

 

I'm still going to help Winston even I won't help on Wednesday or Friday but I really enjoy myself doing this and I'll add my weekly long on soon as its really long and learning new things is experiences for me and I can update my CV as well.
